They're also put up in hotels, fed & transported around the country at your expense - yes, the money that you donate goes to paying these leeches.

My no2 son used walk past and say "Bless you" to her. He said it sounded like she'd sneezed. He said it that often, I think she turned a deaf ear to him.

Its the people who come knocking on your door that do my head in.... About a year ago we had a pair of guys from a cancer charity at our door. I said that I wouldn't be giving them any money as I already donate platelets and they just didn't have a clue...

At least know your subject matter!

Had a guy from the rspca say that as I kept reptiles I should obviously donate as an animal lover, yet at that point the rspca were trying to ban people keeping exotic pets so funding then would be rather stupid.

Why do some of these charity collectors have labels that say "registered as a charity in northen ireland" why not in uk or is it some kind of scam ?

Drove thru Stone this afternoon & evening with my sister. There are folk standing by the traffic lights on the one way system with buckets collecting for Children in Need. We thought at one point, a bloke was goin open the drivers door and shove it under our noses. He would have got told where to shove it n all.
