OK, not for everyone but may be useful for someone. This is a kit meant for a pond setup, but I am thinking about using it for a patio lighting project instead. You get a three way IP65 switch box, plus everything to wire it up to the house, and a double socket too for a lawnmower or whatever. The cable is only 5m, but there are longer kits available. The RRP was a ludicrous £200, but they are selling it for £40 which to me is a bargain.

  • Watergarden IP40 mains adaptor with RCD (Max Load: 3000w)
  • 3 outlet (1 x 1000w, 2 x 300w) IP65 switchbox
  • Switchbox connected to 0.5M of rubber cable with pre-wired outdoor plug
  • Pre-wired outdoor plug & socket, connected by armoured cable
  • Pre-wired outdoor socket, connected to 5M of rubber cable
  • Three pin plug (un-wired)
  • 2 x Plug and socket adapter brackets with screws and wall plugs
  • Switchbox mounting plate, screws and wall plugs
  • 2 x Spare fuses for switchbox (5A, 1.5A)
  • A number of Rubber cable clips & nails
  • A number of Armoured cable cleats, screws and wall plugs

You also get an extra ground spike and twin socket, thrown in for free. I doubt very much that the stated electric screwdriver is included though!

Jesus, almost exactly a year later and I'm looking at this stuff again! Of course, at least I now have a pond in place.
