About to have a lamb hotpot myself, still not tried the chicken casserole either but TBH I prefer red meat.

EDIT: Nice enough, but possibly needed a little salt. Still, at cheaper than a greggs pasty I know which I prefer!

Had the lasagne today, not that impressed TBH. Tasted fine, but very little cheese and it was a bit over cooked at the edges and not that hot in the middle. Also obviously no crunchy top, I always put breadcrumbs/crisps/tortillas on top of mine with the cheese to add a crust and you can't cook that in a microwave. I suppose I'm being a bit unfair, if I compare it to any other microwave lasagne I guess its fine. I suppose its because this is something I often cook myself so know it can be made better, a bit like the chilli which was alright but not a patch on my own.

So my verdict is it tastes good as far as microwave lasagnes go, but I'm not really a fan of microwave lasagne!

Thanks again for this Tek, just put my order in.

Incidentally, I note the refer a friend offer gets you a bonus if your referrals spend over £20.... after all the discounts I just spent £14.... so does that mean you get the bonus for referring me or not?

Going to refer a few friends anyway but just wondering if I will get the bonus or not?

I've only tried one of the 14 things I ordered so will stick my review on when I've had a few more. The breakfast was really nice though!

Yup, I get a bonus for referring you. Now that you have made an order you can also refer people, and when their order ships you get a £10 bonus back. If you can get any mates to order today you should get their referral either monday or tuesday, the offer ends tuesday so you may be able to get another order in for £14.

I'm already wishing they made more stuff, I've tried most things I fancy now and more! I'm still going to place another order or 2 though, as I'm much preferring these to sarnies. Only problem is if I'm down to just a few varieties they will get boring quickly!

had 2 of these so far, and have been woefully underwhelmed :( and i'm not particularly picky - for a while, when i came out of hospital 18 months-or-so ago and couldn't be bothered to cook, i was eating ready meals quite a lot and really enjoyed most of them!

Tees Valley Beef All Day Breakfast - nice, big bits of potato, but overall it was too "saucy" and i wasn't a big fan of the sausages (they should have been pork, imo).. bit bland as well..

Staffordshire Chicken and Vegetable Soup - very bland, i actually had to hunt down some salt & pepper just to make it palatable.. i thought "ooh, you can't go wrong with chicken soup!" when ordering so got 3 of these - regretting that now :(

Had the lasagne today, not that impressed TBH.

dammit, that was next on my list of ones to try and i was really looking forward to it! lol..

oh well.. i was going to order another load before the deal runs out (they're handy to have in for days when i can't be bothered to make myself lunch to take to work, etc.) but i guess this will just save me from the hassle!

I quite liked the all day breakfast, but just thought of it as a posher tin of beans and sausages. Mr Rex thought they were alright, sell them to him ;)

Not tried any soups, or in fact any chicken ones really as I prefer red meat. What else did you buy?

Staffordshire Chicken Casserole (tray) x 1
Norfolk Chicken Tikka with Basmati rice x 1
Teesside Tomato & Vegetable Lasagne x 1
Tees Valley Beef All Day Breakfast x 4
Staffordshire Chicken Balti x 1
Staffordshire Chicken Tikka x 1
Yorkshire Pork Sausage Casserole x 1
Staffordshire Chicken and Vegetable Soup x 3
Tees Valley Beef in Black Velvet Ale x 2
Tees Valley Beef Lasagne x 1

i prefer red meat as well, so most of the veg/chicken ones above were ordered for the missus.. she's had the staffordshire chicken tikka before, from tesco, and quite enjoyed it, so hopefully she'll like t'others..

once thing i forgot to mention in my other post - i would say ignore the "microwave for 2 minutes" instructions on the packaging and use your discretion.. i did my soup for 3 minutes today, and parts of it were still luke warm! i've never had a micro-meal before that reckoned it would be done in 2 minutes, so i would take that with a pinch of salt (quite literally, in the case of the soup i just ate :teef:)..

The only ones of those I've tried were:

Tees Valley Beef All Day Breakfast (liked)
Staffordshire Chicken Tikka (didn't really like)
Yorkshire Pork Sausage Casserole (liked, but found the sausages a bit anaemic)
Tees Valley Beef in Black Velvet Ale (loved)
Tees Valley Beef Lasagne (didn't really like)

Had the mutton again today, again really liked but tasted a bit different to last time!
