Looks like some major work going on, the interior has been fully gutted back to the walls, and now they’ve started removing the upper windows from the property, and they’ve already blocked up some of the front doors.

There was an auction newspaper stuck to the place revealed under the cladding from the late 1800’s !

Wonder if they’re going to put planning in for a change of use to a hmo ?

Any ideas on what this place is being turned into ? , Seen them taking the floors up, n scrapping all the kitchen equipment the other week, along with the outdoor signage.

Anyone hear anything about the transformation then ? Work seems to be going quite well, and they seem to have spent a fair bit of money on it, gutting it both inside and out, wonder if it'll stay as a restaurant or if they're turning it into a family pub / diner.

I expect they'll put up one of their lovely Cyclists Dismount signs before long. Funny how you never see Pedestrians Stop Walking signs around the borough.
