Random, the Rosie's pig flat tyre aailavlea in supermarkets is Rhubarn....

Tesco has 2x4 cans of Rosie's pig slightly sparkling rhubarb cider for £9 at the moment.

I am reliably informed, by a certain forumite with a penchant for apple juice (no names), that this is a suitable "breakfast" cider :)

It seems to have lost the Flat Tyre name unless that's another rhubarb variety they make.

I bet @Carole has champagne!
I'll stick with the black coffee...

The rhubarb cider is lovely though - I'm not a great cider fan, but it has a lovely taste & isn't very fizzy - Middle child had some on holiday in Cornwall recently (not the flat tyre one) - decided to bring me some back, but the local shop had run out - so he bought it in Tescos Stafford instead! :lorks:

As much as I love cider, I could never fancy it with breakfast (Some hotels we go to have as much complimentary champagne as you want at breakfast.... could never face it in the mornings , pity they didn't offer it with the evening meals! )

The term "breakfast" cider came from a Superbike meeting last year with @tek-monkey when he didn't want to start drinking his usual super strong cider too early.

I had some tins of Rosie's rhubarb cider in the car which is 4% so we christened it "breakfast" cider as it was suitable to drink anytime of the day by comparison :)
