I don't think that I went last year and it did seem a little different - only one tractor and quite a few 'new' cars.

This was the highlight for me - not overly tarted-up, just a nice car in a plausible, realistic condition.

Two nice commercials, a smart Bedford...

... and an unusual International Harvester.

Enjoying a drop of red.
Saw you walk past me at just gone 12 @Gramaisc. I'd have gone over and introduced myself but was in conversation with the owner of the Rover Vitesse. You seemed to have vanished after that.

Not a very well attended show, exhibitor wise, this year I thought but the weather may have played a last minute part in that. The highlight for me was said Rover Vitesse and its owner, a really lovely chap.

Also the Triumph.

Whilst I love Jaguars, I don't really see how an XF or a Mk2 XKR can be classified as classics yet. Maybe in 15 years time...

Still a good number of visitors and a very worthwhile trip out.

The Jaguar section was a little ridiculous, I thought. I refrained from a picture of their Union Flag upside down - as were 50% of the flags around the place.

In the military bit, the modern vehicles could have been arranged a little less obtrusively.

The pedestrian gaps in the field might have been a foot or eighteen inches wider for much better bi-directional access.

I was surprised to see someone on a motorbike charged for parking.

My sister and brother in law had one of those when they first came out, I remember they paid £200 over the odds to jump the order queue, lovely looking car in the day and went well when it went.

Unfortunately theirs turned out to be a crock of shite and was traded in for a Merc after about a year at massive loss.

Missed it this year due to driving back from London on Sunday, shame it wasn't a decent turn out compared to last year.
