Cobwebs - Abbots Bromley

I didn't realise this place existed until we came across it by accident! A couple of weeks ago we pulled in by the reservoir just to catch the view for 5 minutes. There was a sign that pointed down the side of the reservoir indicating a café intrigued we followed the narrow lanes and came to a fork in the road. Just had to guess and swung to the left. This cafe is in a little farm yard. Walked through the door and was greeted with a an amazing array of home made cakes and a big smile from the staff. Log burner blazing away in the corner. The coffee was excellent along with the cake, spoilt for choice! They also serve freshly made fruit smoothies for the kids. Across the courtyard is an equine shop. Not into horses so cannot comment further. But this place is well worth popping in. It wasn't until this week I realised you could have gone to the main street in Abbots Bromley and turned down goose lane!

You can see it now can't you. ... floods of Asian tourists with cameras round their necks in coaches trying to fit down the lanes for a slice of sponge!

Cobwebs can now also add soups to their range, the Freedom Brewery Shop is also there too, aswell as a Joules (Clothing), hanging baskets available in the summer. Wonderful place!
