Comedy Night at The Market Vaults [Monday 5th Oct 8pm]

An evening of new material from professional comics and some newer comedians getting experience in stand-up. As ever it's FREE ENTRY for everyone!

Recently The Market Vaults have invested in improving the sound, solving the teething problems we had in the first couple of months. We've now got great sound throughout the entire pub, so there's no escaping the jokes!

We've been doing this for 10 YEARS now, working to bring a lot of fun to the heart of Stafford. It's always a lot of fun and a great atmosphere!

Once again we'll be raising donations for HOUSE OF BREAD, a charity offering food supplies, support and services for low-income families, vulnerable adults and the homeless in Stafford. This month we've got a Special Prize Give-Away for people donating £5 or more!

Whilst the show starts at 8pm, seating and spaces are limited, so it's recommended you arrive in plenty of time to get a good seat.

We've got a cracking line-up for tomorrow night's gig.

Professional comedians include;

Freddy Quinne - assured and confident comedian who performs for major comedy clubs such as The Comedy Store, Frog & Bucket, Gag Reflex, Just The Tonic and The Stand. Freddy had his first-ever gig right here at this venue in Stafford, and has gone on to great success as a professional comic.

Jo D'Arcy - a local lass from Stoke-On-Trent, Jo has achieved a lot of success recently, earning her place as a Finalist in the Hobgoblin Comedy Awards and as a Finalist in the Birmingham Comedy Festival Breaking Talent Award.

Chris Brooker - a much in-demand MC on the comedy circuit, Chris has gigged all over the country for a decade, and has Headlined our professional shows at The Gatehouse Theatre.

We'll also have a performance from popular local comedian (and BBC Pointless Champion) "The Bard From HednesfArd" Tom Allsopp! All these great acts and more for absolutely FREE!
