Well they were doing it wrong. I never pick anything out, that's not my forte, I only offer opinions on clothes my wife picks out. What the hell do I know about fashion???

My understanding is that the answer to this question is always 'no' but that I should find another reason for rejecting the garment if the answer should really be 'yes'. It seems to make life easier.

On first perusal I thought you meant you partners nan was a prostitute!

Not knowing your age, were these partners in their teens/twenties? Back then I used to like the idea of how someone would look, nowadays I think of reality and practicality. The safest arrangement all round is to agree to do your own thing and rendezvous in a convenient bar for a much needed refreshment, the smartest arrangement is to head straight to said bar. We generally hit the market vaults, or the Rose and Crown if only moderately hungry. As long as I can get wifi or a phone signal I am perfectly capable of doing all my shopping from the pub.

I do also have a trump card, my OH hates shopping with me. Apparently I wander aimlessly staring at things that she find uninteresting, so she'd rather go off and do her own thing too. Win

They were various ages from mid twenties to thirties. I also shop for clothes online because there is much more choice but I must admit I don't shop for clothes in Stafford ... this might change when the new development opens.
