B&Q Performance Power NiCad 14.4v cordless drill / driver. Needs new battery unit, the drill itself works fine. Seems a shame to throw it away.

You can often replace the cells in the battery casing reasonably easily, if they have used standard items, as they usually do.

Thanks - I'll have a closer look at it. Mind you, the offer still stands; I have a nice new Bosch cordless hammer drill which is great. The Lithium Ion battery charges so quickly!

It is probably there another another name, if you can rely on the pictures - it's just a 'branded' tool that will exist under several names, probably.
