I think your right, hopefully not as there are no travel restrictions for exercise or recreation this time round that I could see.

If it's just one month I imagine most will work from home, but it's better people are up the chase where there's space than on the Isobel trail or the town park.

From this mornings outing to the Building Society , it became pretty clear that quite a few oldies have no intention to sticking to the rules at all. The bloke in the queue infront of me was most distraught (like me ) that 6 people infront of us ,entering when the doors opened , walked straight past the hand sanitiser station without using it and not sticking to the distancing inside.
I came back out to hear folks in the queue outside Lloyds Bank loudly discussing " It's all a load of nonsense. Only the sick people get sick with it"
Un-bloody-believable , I despair :ohno:

I blame Domonic Cummings and Nigel Farage.

Whilst I do, I think it's naive to think he didn't know that his actions would cause people to basically kill each other. He may be a twat but he aint stupid, their plan was always herd immunity even though we know it's not real. Still, mainly non-taxpayers that dies so no great loss eh!

I'm all for closing the schools but what do we do with the children? Myself and partner both work and cannot work from home so we would be relying on grandparents who are all over 70

What did you do with them during last lockdown? The 70's + couldn't have looked after them then either? (That sounds like I'm asking a really arsey question, I'm not, just interested as to what you did before).

It seems so stupid to lockdown everywhere again, but not schools, colleges and university's. There's currently 10 children off in 1 year at my daughters school, and 1 teacher. And I have no idea about the other years.

My wife's work was closed last time so she was at home. I agree schools are adding to the problem. I don't know what the answer is TBH, I honestly think the only way out of this is a vaccine

Won't it close again this time?

We are 'presuming the husband will be furloughed again, but the company is making us wait. For me I'll be at work as usual.

Also what about the' Sheilders'? No info or help for them. Although I've just received a message from my work union, stating its being discussed & we will have info by Wednesday.
