The simple answer is to bar pubs selling open alcohol containers and if they do enforcing the Coronavirus rules and/or the PSPO if it is applicable to the area.

The pubs that are only interested in money were selling beer in pint plastic containers with push on lids & claiming that they were sealed containers. The police around here don't seem terribly intrested in doing anything about it.

Ah yes, still waiting for a response to the email I sent Cash in May...

At least "working for Stafford & Penkridge" has set up an automated reply (or someone has done it for her). I do wonder if she is actually an android programmed to follow the party line regardless.

Arselicking is often the quickest route to promotion.

Warning from Staffordshire Smart Alert -

"Please watch out for a text message claiming to be from the NHS, which says you are eligible to apply for a vaccine and includes a link asking you to click through to apply.

The link takes you to a fake NHS website and asks you for payment and other personal details.

Please be vigilant, and remember that the NHS will never ask for payment for the vaccine.

If you receive this message please do not respond or click the link. You can report any suspect texts or emails to Action Fraud through their website or by calling 0300 123 2040.

Please share this warning with elderly and vulnerable friends and family members so we can prevent as many people as possible from falling victim to this scam."

I believe that anyone who had theirs booked in before 1st January was having their second vaccine. However I don't believe another batch of vaccines has been sent to the showground yet.

It OK, Mat Handjob was out and about this morning checking everything was ok and he says it is. So that's good enough for me.

It's always been known that it doesn't stop you getting Covid though hasn't it? It just lessens the symptoms for the most part.

Dad's had a letter this morning asking him to book one online. He protested as it's at Millennium Point, but off were going on Monday afternoon.
Millennium Point?

What's wrong with the showground!

My folks have still heard nothing...
