Our local NHS Organisations are currently in the process of setting up more COVID-19 Mass Vaccination Centres across the County of Staffordshire and we are really keen to recruit volunteers to help with the following roles:
Marshalls: to direct patients/members of the public from the car parking area into the building and also when inside, direct them to the right station/waiting area.
Patient advocates: to observe members of the public pre and post vaccine in the waiting area(s); to relay any questions they have to clinical staff and inform them when the 15 minutes waiting period for them is complete.
Shifts: The centres are open 8am to 8pm Monday to Sunday. The shifts are Early: 730am to 2:30pm
Late: 1:30pm to 8pm
However, for those marshalling outside we are happy to split the shifts between two colleagues so that they do 4 hours each.
