Couples: What's The Age Gap Between The Both of You?

What has happened for you to question this?

Well there's a certain lady who I've been interested in for a while at work. She doesn't work in my dept, but I do see her about the place. Well I've finally got around to asking somebody about her, and they mentioned her age, which happens to be 23. I'm 35 and think it may be just a little bit too much of a gap.

I personally agree with Rich... people, not the age, that matter. There was 7 years difference between my Mum and Dad (Ma being the older of the two). I know some 20 year olds that are much more mature than alot of people my age (29) or older. I personally think that age is nothing more than a number in alot of ways, and if two people are on the same page, who gives a toss about the age difference?

I think the age would make a difference if one was 70 and the other in their 20's. That would just be perverted, don't care what anyone says. But what you're talking about should make no difference at all.

12 and a half years between me and hubby. I'm 41 and he's 29 (Get in!!) Been together 5 years, married for 3 and have the combined mental age of a 10 year old!

Largest gap I've had is 9 1/2 years (twice). The first I was 25 and she was 16, worked well for over 2 years. The second I was 30 her 20, lasted a few months. Depends entirely on the people, and helps that I'm immature. Never gone out with anyone older.
