Hello!

Bit of a long shot but looking for some advice on a broken dishwasher?

It's not getting hot anymore! Worked fine for years now nothing!

Fuses are all okay, so husband has replaced the thermostat (it looked 'gunky') - still didn't work!

So now he's replaced the heating element - plugged it all in tonight and it still won't get hot?!

Any ideas?

You need to follow through the circuit and see where the volts disappear.

It's not totally impossible for the new heating element to be open circuit, I suppose. A resistance check (with the volts off) would confirm that.
