I have the original content if you require it.

Thanks hop, was more to ensure an 'unbiased' copy remains if you know what I mean. The database will show the original posts (each with an IP stamp) along with the details of every edit carried out since the thread began, just to ensure no accusations can be made of editing things after the fact :)

So shoes, did you get threatened over the phone?

I don't believe he was threatened, just asked to remove a post. I suspect that post would have been removed in the purge anyway, but still dodgy to phone rather than ask online.

That said admin has hidden that entire saga, so perhaps best to leave it alone unless he says otherwise? The thread remains (as does the evidence if needed), the bullies have left, let's keep this about Atlas Business Services / Together Telecom being robbing bastards that you should never have dealings with.

Finally !!! David Plum will have to show his face. Its not a coincidence that no photos of his son or family are in existence (hence the crumpled old photo of JP)
Never leave a trace or face , it's all in the planning.Needless to say the attendance at the funeral won't be just friends and family.

You said that there weren't any at all.
Excluding the crumpled one mentioned that obviously a disgruntled ex employee sent to the Sun.If you have a week off work find any photos of the Plums and admit defeat on Sunday , good luck.

No, not at all in, in fact once we had established who we all were we had a very civilised conversation. No threats were handed out or implied and if I'm honest he made a pretty compelling argument regarding the deceased's children.

A few of you already know the following from facebook, but I've decided to put it on here as well just in case anyone else ever gets a call from them. Sorry for the long post, but if it helps just one person avoid using these scumbags it is worth it.

They call themselves Atlas Business Services . Well, sometimes, they are also Reseller UK Ltd. And better-rates.co.uk, and they answer the phone as GTEC but they are all the same people. 2 different addresses, but same phone number and company number for all of them:

Tel: 0843 636 6755
Company Number 07565517

34 NEW HOUSE
67-68 HATTON GARDEN
LONDON
ENGLAND
EC1N 8JY

Beckett House
Sovereign Court
Wyrefields
Poulton Business Park
Poulton Le Fylde
Lancashire
FY6 8JX

They are also sim-only ltd I think, same phone number but different company number and address.

Right, now I've got their details out of the way, on to the problem.

My OH was called at work recently by these guys, offering a fairly decent rate on a business line. She agreed to a 12 month contract over the phone and they said she'd get no early termination fee from her current provider (talktalk), but got a little concerned afterwards and did some googling. Didn't find much on atlas but talktalk said of course a cancellation fee would be charged, so she called back to cancel. They said this was fine, not a problem. Because she was very suspicious, she then called talktalk and asked them to make sure no transfer happened. They agreed too, all is well it seems.

Whilst we were on holiday a letter arrived from talktalk saying sorry you are leaving us, seems a second request was initiated to transfer the line when the first one was refused. Atlas were called (premium rate, they ignore emails), and my OH was told that the person who she talked to wasn't authorised to cancel anything so it wasn't done. She told them again she wanted to cancel, they said there will be a fee of over £800 as she was in a 36 month contract. OFCOM were contacted, they said the practice is known as slamming and is frowned upon but not illegal. However no contract exists, they can't prove a contract ever existed and therefore they can't charge her anything. End result, my OH has no internet at work (they didn't even send a router) and can't use her phone line in case that creates a contract that OFCOM says currently does not exist.

So talktalk were contacted again, they agreed to take her back and keep her number and set up a date to transfer her over, a few days before this date she receives another letter from them saying Atlas had initiated another request and they had to agree to it. They agree to try yet again to transfer her back to talktalk but the date has moved by a further 2 weeks so again no internet or phone at work.

Today she has received a phone call threatening to disconnect her line to ensure that she loses her business number unless she pays up. They've said they have no knowledge of her not wanting to be their customer or transferring back to talktalk, and have said unless she sends in voice recordings of it then it didn't happen.

This is blackmail, they know if she loses her business number it will cost her to change everything to the new one plus she could lose old customers that will think she no longer trades when the line is dead. We are approaching a solicitor to get this sorted out, I just wanted to make sure nobody else gets caught out by these bastards.

Katie Woodfinden owned a dept collecting agency, which chased me for payments for another dodgy Blackpool based scam "Internet Media Experts" I lost £320 for advertising that was never seen, I owed more but refused to pay the rest. At the time she was based in the same business centre as Atlas Business Services. I think they must have been sharing details of gullible people. I am not quite as naive now.

I've wasted hours searching for details of these scammers. When you have been ripped off, you can get a bit obsessed with trying to find out who they are and if anyone else has had the same issues. Katie Woodfinden has been in trouble in the past for selling fake advertising spaces in supermarkets.

Were Internet Media Experts the ones that promised to put you on the NHS intranet, but all they really did was post a link to their own site? Like I said, dodgy bastards.

They didn't even link to their website. That's how I caught them out. I refused to pay another penny until they could show me a screenshot proving the link on the NHS intranet Staffordshire Trusts. Initially, they made it sound as though my actual advert would be on the intranet, but in actual fact, after I became suspicious because I had nothing from it, I read the contract in detail and it only promised a link to their (very low traffic website) with my ad on it. I thought, ok so it's my own fault for not reading properly, but then because the sales pitch was so convincing to the contrary of what the small print actually said, I became suspicious that anything was being shown, not even a link. So I decided to make them prove that the promised link was definitely there. It was ages before they got back to me, but they then sent a screenshot, but the link wasn't shown. The chap on the phone said it definitely was and to look three lines down. It wasn't there. He asked me to make payment as he'd proved it. I returned the screenshot pointing out that it wasn't there. He then called up and said sorry, I'd sent you the wrong one. I said "what? you have sent me the one you haven't edited?". I then pointed out that the contract stated that there would be a permanent link to their website and my ad under a certain heading, and all he'd actually done was prove that it wasn't permanently there.... Katie Woodfinden chased me a few times after that and then they gave up, but they still didn't pay back my £320.
