Dogs in Taxis

Right. This may seem like a silly question but I cannot drive and a friend is thinking about popping round with her puppy (medium breed- 10weeks old) obviosuly to help socialize it and wondered whether we would have any problems using kaminskis (i have an account with them but my phone has run out so would otherwise ask them myself!) with a puppy in tow?

I just asked them and they say that it shouldn't be a problem, but do mention it when booking, as certain drivers won't do it, so they'll make sure that you get one that will.

Edit:- Hopefully, it will be one of these..

Dogs are at the discretion of the taxi driver with an exception Guide dogs. Drivers who refuse to take a guide dog can lose their licence or get a fine of up to £1,000

Not wishing to appear harsh , dogs like humans expel shit out of their bottoms however we wipe and have further enhanced hygiene procedures and animals don't. I would not be impressed if i used a cab and sat in a seat where a dog had plonked it's shitty rear end and then be expected to pay for the experience.....

I hope it thoroughly disgusts you that my large 7 year old German
Shepherd cross happily sleeps every night between me and better half, under the sheets with her head poking out between us. We love her dearly and she hasn’t shit the bed yet!

Any animal will always keep itself clean to its best ability, to be honest i'd rather share a taxi with a dog rather than some of the filthy barstewards who leave the cabs in a right state
I've always found it odd when I read adverts for rental properties that mention 'no pets allowed'. Presumably the landlord believes that the animal is a risk of wrecking the house. Strange how all the programmes I've seen and stories I've read about rental properties being trashed, the majority have been caused by the "human" tenants.

Ours used to sleep like that as well . She always smelt so nice being regularly shampooed in the bath with Johnsons baby shampoo :).

Now I wouldn't like to think I had to share a bed with any of the neighbours in the rented house behind us.! As well as both the kids and dad pissing up the outside walls, in the summer I overheard one of the kids tell the mum that the other kid had sh1t in the pool. The mother let them carry on playing in the pool for the rest of the afternoon :o

They don't use taxis do they? If so please advise of the company concerned to save the rest of us :)

Every time I've taken my dog in a taxi, she's always stayed on the floor and she's a staffie so trained to wipe her own arse, thank you.
