For Sale Double bed with 4 drawers and mattress - brand new

Not positive right now, but I may have a brand new bed for sale. Its the 4 drawer double version of this:

Its not arrived yet but I assume it's fully wrapped still. Its got drawers, its got springs, it may even have wheels. Will be after about £250 for it, thought I'd put it here before advertising on ebay as I hate that place. Where else can you sell stuffs like this?

OK, now confirmed. Bed will be available from the 27th, after £200 if from here or will stick it on ebay for £250.

Moss Pit. I would need my old bed removing too really (would like it taken to Katherine House) as I live in a studio (ground floor) and my garage is full - I could pay a bit extra.

Delivery isn't a problem, removing the other bed may be though. It's a works van and would need to be empty ready for the following morning, but evenings are the only time he can help and he can't store it.

Will see if I can sort something else, unless maybe someone else on the forum wanted a free bed and could collect yours at the right time to deliver this?

It's worth noting that if you turn up to the tip in a van (any kind of van) they will charge you to leave any items whatsoever there. I think they charged me £34 the last time this happened. If you turn up in a huge estate car, they charge you nothing.

Considering the amount of stuff Katherine house have previously refused, some of it virtually brand new, this would be a major issue if I was able to move it.

It's a single bed with guest bed underneath. It would be great for a spare room, and if you fill the gap between the mattresses with pillows or something you could make it into a double bed.

I'm an adult now so I want a proper double bed!

Hmm, the person I'd hoped would deliver may actually have use for that. I shall have a word and let you know, does it come apart easily or would it need to be moved as one piece?

4 pieces: bed frame, guest bed frame and 2 mattresses. It's not the best looking of beds - it's a bit old and battered, but does the job.

They'll be over in a bit to move some stuff for me, will ask them then. May need pulling apart to get in the van though, will measure it when they turn up and let you know. It's only a mini van sort of thing.

Right, after an interesting trip yesterday I can confirm we can't move a bed without dismantling it. KH won't take one in pieces AFAIK, and if we can't go to the tip without being charged (works van) I'm not sure I can get rid of the old bed. Sorry :(

I can confirm we can move the double bed, the bases fit fine although the mattress on my old one had to be folded to get it in. So yes we can deliver the new one, just can't do anything with the old one. Maybe someone on the forum would like a free bed and can arrange to collect the same evening?

You could try this.

Or if all else fails this though you'll still have to pay something, there's also the possibility of added two additional items for the same price if you're thinking of having a clear-out.

I forgot about Furniture Exchange... I dunno - seems like too much of a hassle and stress. I think I'll just buy a new one from people who can take it away, sorry. =/
