Winner plays Chester FC, as my radio tells me - gk141054 will no doubt confirm/be delighted.
?? They may be but we've been way better away from home so far!
I didn't hear whether it would be a Chester or Stafford Home game - either way gk would no doubt be delighted...

Winners away to Chester. 5th November. If we can get past Newcastle in the replay andget a decent result on Saturday we could 1. Have a suddenly mproved home record & 2. Have a rather large following at Chester! We took best part of 400 to Newcastle on Saturday, have only lost 2 in the last 12 but regrettably have only won one at home so far!

Tonights result - The Mighty Boro 5 Newcaslte Town 2

2 defeats in 13 games and moving on nicely. Quite possibly a large follwing on its way to Chester on the 5th!! Indeed, bring it on!

Chester 2 Boro 0
In the game, then the ref (of questionable parentage) gave Chester a penalty after their Chris Simm decided to try his best Tom Daly impression!!!After that it was uphill and although we had a fair amount of possession we couldnt make a break through.
Back to the league now then and now worries of fixture pile up due to be caught up in any of them pesky cup games!!!! Doh!

Due to having a very heavy night in Stafford on Friday I gave the "hair of the dog" a miss when we got dropped in the city for an hour and instead went for a stroll round the grosvenor centre, ampitheatre and St Johns Cathedral. And people think I'm a phillistine! pfffft!!
I think some walked to the ground, some went off to one pub and others went to The Marlborough near Pizza Express just off the main street.
