As nearly all the houses in Meadow Way are now empty. Does any one know of their possible fate?

It seems amazing that they are only 12 years old. I guess the builders should have listened to the locals who thought it a funny place to build houses.

I've been told there are problems with the houses (possibly subsidence) and they need to be knocked down.

If I remember what I was told correctly the original house builder has had to buy them all back.

Meadow Way, Stone? Meadow Road is Stafford.

Meadow Road & Meadow Way are both available. Meadow Way is where the South End Club used to be. Had they never heard of water meadows?

Maybe they'll knock them down & build on the opposite side of Silkmore Lane. That part never floods.

That's what I was told too. I notice some houses sport a sign saying they are being looked after by a security company. This hasn't stopped the odd window being put through.

I remember a few years ago see a multitude of "For Sale"signs at the entrance and thinking it was odd. I wonder what the developer paid when buying them back....

We had a nose around the showhouse when they were first built. Knowing full well that the land they were built on used to flood when it was the Southend club, asked the sales person whether it was in an area prone to flooding just to see what she'd say. With hubbys West Brom accent, she thought we weren't from the area and her answer was " Oh no, of course not, it's never flooded around here "
