Escaped bear.

I have just, at great personal risk, apprehended a polar bear who was prowling around the Blakiston Street/Prospect Road crossroads. He was a juvenile, but they are still formidable predators. In the event that he may have escaped from your custody, I persuaded him to sit on WMR's wall whilst waiting for rescue.

I went to check on the situation on my way into town and found that the bear was nowhere to be seen. I'm hoping that he has been retrieved by his keeper and is not roaming free terrorising the neighbourhood. I would, until this matter is resolved, recommend only going outside in pairs, armed, and maintaining one hundred feet separation, so that one can fire from a safe distance if the other is ambushed.

Stay safe.

I understand that another bear is loose on the old railway line near Gnosall - he may be an escaped domesticated animal, but you can never be too sure.

If you know of anybody with a missing bear, could you let them know that he is still prowling in the vicinity.
