Every Action Counts

For anyone community minded and keen on caring for the environment (should be all of us – it’s the way forward), Stafford District Voluntary Services is hosting “Every Action Counts†training, a two day, free course which will train people to be community champions for the Government’s Every Action Counts programme. It runs on two Fridays, 16th and 30th Nov at the SDVS HQ in North Walls. I did it in Stoke in July, and can recommend it as a way of communicating to local groups and organisations to help them to work out how they can help tackle climate change and be more environmentally friendly. (Anything from encouraging the football team to share lifts, to installing solar panels on the local school) For more about Every Action Counts, see http://www.everyactioncounts.org.uk/en/fe/page.asp?n1=10 . To book on the training, phone SDVS on 01785 279930 or email sbadmin@sdvs.org.uk.
