Examples of poor driving you have witnessed!

It was only changed so the bigwigs in Faulty Towers wouldn't have riff raff driving cars past the place.

Is my memory failing me or were there once signs on the slip roads onto the motorway facing towards the motorway & saying something like "you are going the wrong way"? Or was that just a story someone was telling in a bar?
They do - flashy modern roads are still a new thing.
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.0...Bdh_ez_nEn6K6zBsoA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656!6m1!1e1 The junctions can also be rather large, so that you often can't really see the other end of the slip road and there's often nobody else about to give you a clue that you've got it wrong.... In the scene above, the yellow line being on the right is a clue, but it's not that obvious. Motorways are still 'new' over there - not long ago, what is now the N7 was known as the Dual Carriageway, because it was the dual carriageway.
Still get the odd one - this was this morning.

There's a good bit of tarring and gritting going on around the place at the moment - and, no doubt, many similar examples to this, where some moron has buggered it up within the first 24 hours by failing to have the tiny amount of skill necessary to just keep the car moving whilst squirming the tyres round.

looking at the photo it looks as if the road wasn't properly swept before laying the new surface. maybe worth reporting it staffs cc so a repair can be carried out before it turns into a future pothole

It seemed a bit odd to 'resurface' it at all. It really wasn't too bad and it's generally just a little-used car park, in essence.

There are a lot more significant problems out there.

Surface dressing is a preventative measure. It's supposed to be used on roads that are in reasonably good condition to extend their lifespan and prevent water ingress. It doesn't work on potholed roads. Proper surface replacement is much more expensive which is why loads of roads get the surface treatment but not many get repaired.

It's supposed to be a preventive measure but we all know it's just a layer of shite.

I see that somebody has remodelled the railing on Gaol Square, presumably having failed to make the turn out of Chell Road successfully.

I did see the Fuzz chase someone down the Wolvo Road on Friday evening around 5:30pm.....seemed to be in a bit of a rush too?
