Examples of poor driving you have witnessed!

On the day of my Dad's funeral a range rover overtook our funeral car and the hearse to beat us to a red light! Some people defy belief!

I can't believe how many people can't be added to use headlights in the current foggy mornings. Muppets!

Luckily that didn't happen to me on Monday on the way to my mums funeral. Although the funeral directors were driving at 15-20mph all the way to the crematorium, so I did wonder.

Lichfield Road heading out of town, stopped at traffic lights with Riverway. Car turning right which had stopped across the cycle section at the front had to reverse back when an articulated lorry came out from GEC road because the lorry was going to hit him. After the lorry had completed his turn the car driver then moved forward over the cycle section. What a plank and why???

Well, my ABS works.

I was proceeding out of town on Lichfield Road, approaching the box junction at Riverway, with a little space in front of me, abus behind and a line of cars turning right into the Hough Retail Park on my right. I was contemplating the possibility that the lights might turn red, but they didn't and, so, I proceeded into the junction, as the approaching traffic continued into town in the opposite direction. Suddenly, spotting the slight gap in front of me, a car turned right into Riverway, where it says No Right Turn. Sharp breaking ensued, on a wet road covered with intermittent yellow painted stripes. A collision was barely avoided, though I wonder if there may have been some disruption to the passengers in the bus behind...

Great driving this morning from the driver of a white Audi Q3 towing a horse box on Radford Bank and Silkmore Lane, reg no DX14KFZ. The last time I looked , the speed limit is 30 on both roads, so sitting tight up behind me, then overtaking on Silkmore Lane and forcing me to brake so that you don't hit the car in the other lane coming towards you was first class driving. If you need to get somewhere that quickly, set off earlier.

I regularly get overtaken on Silkmore Lane doing 30 mph or if not overtaken will be caught up by someone doing a ridiculous speed who will then tailgate. It is dangerous and depressing.

Two things I'd like to pick up on here... Overtaking while towing, when did that become legal again? And... if there was actually a horse inside, this person deserves a horse-kick to the side of the head!

No, there wasn't a horse in there, but I suspect if there was, it wouldn't have changed their driving style. I keep toying with the idea of an in car camera, idiots like that only make me more serious about buying one!

With this much information I'm sure the police would be interested and it might just save someones life..................

Not bad driving, but a warning of bad driving to come...
The Dalek on Rowley Bank was having it's camera module installed this morning, so expect panic-braking all week.

Get a camera, you might spot things like this...

Not in Stafford but as I left Burslem last Friday.
