EXT3 Formatted Drives

I want to copy something off my Freesat box that is larger than 4gb and then convert it to Apple TV format for personal use. However in order to do that I need to convert a memory stick to ext3 format.

My questions are:

1 Is there a tool out there for doing this?

2 If I manage to do that, will a Windows PC recognise the formatting?

Any help would be much appreciated

If I remember rightly isn't ext3 usually a filesystem used by most flavours of linux? I'm not sure whether Windows can read ext but someone must have made a package for it somewhere along the line

Um, quick fix.... grab a version of Ubuntu that runs on top of windows and do it that way.
