I have heard.....

Really good builders are likely to have 12 months worth of work booked in advance

OK builders 3 months worth

Builders lose just as many days in the summer as the winter through bad weather

I shall ask around

I was going to ask the same thing. Want to convert the garage next year, and knowing about the waiting list for good builders thought we should get cracking now so if you hear of anyone Mr. Marwood

I used Darren Farmer for a major refurb when I first bought my property and can recommend him. I know he does some nice extensions - he built an orangery/extension for my friends and they've only sung his praises too.

I used S. Bonehill in Penkridge for an extension a few years ago, they did a good job so no complaints. The best are always booked well in advance as already mentioned.
