Mine was a black fiat Panda which i loved.

It was trim on the Mini Countryman, but the ash frame on a Minor was structural - very noticeable if you ever removed it....

1977 Ford Escort mark II in a rather crappy shade of beige. It was 10 years old when I got it and pretty rubbish but it was mine. I had been without motorised transport for two years after selling my Yamaha to enable buying a house. My Escort has round headlamps rather than the move desirable square ones.

Yes you young ones, it was a choice of buying a house or having a motorbike or car. In those days you were lucky if you could have both.

I'm not sure how it happened but before I passed my test I owned a 'salt rusted on one side' Polo (it lived by the sea)- then a 'full of fluffy white mould' Skoda, once I passed I drove my husbands 'emergency' Fiesta (no power steering & older than my eldest child), the first car I bought was a Ford KA (brill car). I now own a Corsa :/ Not the best, but VERY reliable (kissy kissy Corsa)

Vauxhall Corsa. Loved it as my first car. Many memories Had another straight after then went french to a number of mild to hot hatches....... .Drove like a complete eejit as you do being youngish.... maxxed out on the A50... ahem a hundred and thirty what......

What was your first car?

The first car I owned myself was a G reg Fiesta XR2i. Lovely car, but someone else had thrashed it well before I could.
The first me and the ex had between us was a Vauxhall Cavalier 1.6L. Kids called it Herbie. I cried when he sold it.

A 1982 Vauxhall Chevette 1.3, acquired in 1994 (after I'd had 3 bikes of various crapness).
