Just out of curiosity, is there a pub or a restaurant in Stafford/Staffordshire that has a food based challenge?

where if you eat the biggest burger or steak in the quickest time you get your food for free? :D

Bit late now but The Kestrel at Hatton used to do a 200 oz steak challenge. Never done as far as I'm aware.
Wont be either as I think it's a chinese or indian restaurant now.

I saw one today as well - Burgers at Blacks -

Can you conquer Great Britain & Europe's largest burger - 'The Beast'?

Which led me to think that this sort of thing appears to be on the increase.

Which in turn led me toward the thinking of, heaven help us all.

They are a bit crafty with this one as there is loads of bread which would make it difficult and then they add a lb of chips into it and say you have to eat it all. They are kind of setting you up for a fail. I do know a young man (bone thin before anyone wonders) who could most likely polish that off and then have pudding lol.

I recently visited hash house a go go in Las Vegas. Not an eating challenge just very large portions. I had the blueverry and pecan flapjack below for breakfast. Recommended by Man V Food
