Recently saw on offer in Sainsbugs, oven proof sellophane bags with a sachet of seasoning type stuff. Put chicken pieces and whatever veg you have lying around in the bag and bung in a low temp oven for 45 mins. Very tasty and juicy as the moisture is retained in the bag, recommended.

I often use the oven bags from Home Bargains, think its 79p for 10. OK, you have to add your own seasoning (if needed) but it makes a very moist joint and no washing the roasting tin afterwards!

This morning for breakfast, I had coffee with a large brandy in it, 2 slices of whole wheat toast with
real butter spread thickly so I can't see the bread, and a black cherry preserve on top
eaten while still warm and the butter still melting.
All this at 9.00 o'clock cause I'm retired and don't have to get up for work, loverly grub.

I'm sure he'd have eaten one of them, too. Do you know anywhere that sells them?

Deviled lanos liver mmmmmmm yummy can't wait. Although the prospect of flames in the pan n not under it always gives a little adrenalin rush lol.

Gadget - Magda let me try some of her butternut squash chips and you are right, they are REALLY nice!

The co-op have half price duck at the moment so we had a roasted duck dinner yesterday with approximately a ton of homemade gravy, and I've made an extremely tasty stew with the leftover duck which I am eating as I type :)

It's a good thing I proof-read, I have good reason to lament the positioning of the F and D keys at the best of times, but never more than when I'm trying to write Duck. Sheesh.
