I'll be willing Kimi on for his first Championship title albeit in a Ferrari.
I cursed it. . .but, well done Kimi.
That was the hardest thing I've ever had to watch.

Both Renaults are under investigation by the FIA for possible fuel irregularties, IF and its a big IF, they are found to be in breach of this, then they would lose the points they won today, taking Lewis up to fifth and the World Champion crown.

Twas indeed an excellent race
Lewis bless his cottons let it get to him which wasnt a good start , fate then decreed a mechanical fault . So it wasn't to be , but boy did he drive well ! He just move on now even if there's a dispute it wouldn't be right to win that way .

Webber was very unlucky and the iceman cameth ??
drove v well and took it , fair play to the lad . Looking forward to next years already theres some excellent drivers around .

Alonso needs to spend some time having a think this off season

One to watch next year is I think Kubica ( assuming he gets a decent seat!) Oh and aren't they planning the first nightime GP too?

Crikey! I'll take back a little of what I said about F1 being boring, cerytainly an exciting finale, I listened on the radio while preparing Sunday Dinner. Can't help thinking that McLaren as a team have blown it! Lots of basic errors contributed to the final result.

I must say Gon2seed I would have thought you guys would have had your own diesel pump at the fire station. I was very surprised to see the pump fuelling up at Sandon Road Garage.
We'd run out of diesel so had to use our agency card

I'll take you up on that offer....if it is an offer that is! Would love to hear all about your job!?....Is that wierd?
If you were an insomniac Simon I would take you up on your offer! Pubs and firestations across the county are filled with people who have been send up the wooden hill to Bedfordshire by my wittering!

PS its still not a proper sport! ;)

Lewis Hamilton is to have a street named after him, can I suggest the obvious 'Lewis Hamilton Drive'.

So it was on the news last night, Lewis Hamilton is quitting England for Switzerland to 'escape the intense public and media scrutiny he experienced living in the uk', oh not for tax reasons then!
I don't think I should comment on this again....I'm just too angry!

Wouldn't you ? Everyone does it and The Rolling Stones, Spice Girls et la, admit thats why they tour/move from UK. As long as your not in the country for more than 60 days each year your tax is much, much lower. When you've got the mega bucks rolling in like Hamilton has, you'd be crazy to stay, good on him I say, and he DID admit that in ITVs interview last night.

Maybe I would but I wouldn't try and cover it up with this media intrusion business, I don't recall him saying anything about tax on the news last night, though I'm probably wrong! And when I wikipedia'd it, it says what I said above?

And then again, i think I'd like to put something back into the country that raised me, schooled me, looked after me, fought wars for me etc etc, via taxes, and not keep it all to myself, I mean how much can a 22 year old need?

P.S. See earlier post re: jealousy!

Yes, fingers crossed for Lewis, I just hope there are no reliability issues, it would be a poor way to finish if his car broke. I am a bit surprised that Mercedes have allowed him to be in this position :shifty: I thought Rosberg would fit the team profile better and please the sponsors/Mercedes more ?
