Giving this thread a BUMP incase people aren't really sure what this is about....

I've only started trying Spotify out today and I'm amazed at how great it is.

Basically imagine a jukebox on your PC with 10 million songs at your listening pleasure. It streams them from the internet instantly, and what's great is that it is completely FREE!! There are paid for versions, but if you use the free version it just means that you are forced to listen to a very short advert every 4 or 5 songs.

For those who just listen to music via your PC, forget Limewire which brings in multiple viruses and get Spotify intead!! You won't regret it!!!

I thought spotify was an issue outside the US? Or was that pandora? Now I think about it prob was pandora, used to love that.

Can you not just sign up using a different email address etc.?

they limited free memberships, so now you can only get one if you're invited by a premium member, and premium members can only invite 5 people a month. There's an 'open' version that's limited to 20 hours a month you could get though.
