apologies for bringing everybody down on a wednesday morning, but i thought this would be the easiest way to get details out to the most people possible.

you may remember this thread from earlier in the month, but sadly kerry passed away in the early hours of sunday morning.

the funeral will be at 1.30pm on monday 12th march at bednall church and the wake at the bridge hotel, penkridge.

those of you who knew kerry, if you would like to come, please do.

if you know of anybody who would like to come and say their goodbyes but isnt a member of the forum, please feel free to pass the invite onto them.

thank you,

sophie cooke

it wasnt unexpected, but her deterioration was incredibly quick.

i just feel for her family and her husband, god knows how they must feel at the moment.

Hi Lisa,

Welcome to The Forum.. Not everyone on here knows each other in real life, and for many people the only time they ever cross paths is here on Stafford Forum.. So if you have something to say to someone, or something you want to contibribute, just go right ahead :)

I'm sure cookie_monster appreciates you taking time to post your condolensces..

Thanks,

Admin.

cheers lisa, as admin said, i do really appreciate you posting. i think you get to a point in life when its fair to say youre officially grown up...when hearing about a strangers loss makes you think about your own losses and you empathise. i hate to say it, but i think im officially gorwn up now (eek!)

the main reason i put a post on here was to reach as many people as possible, along with the texts and emails ive been bombarding people with.

we left school between 95 and 97, so needless to say...theres a lot of people that we all spent a lot of quality time with, but for various reasons, have lost touch with.

for anybody who is coming, i spoke to meach last night and hes requested that rather than bringing flowers or donations people pledge towards his marathon fund (the link in the OP).

i also asked about dress code (i cant think of another way to say it) and he said dont wear black- kez wouldnt want it and he wants the day to be a celebration of kez, her love for catching up with friends, a good time and obviously....the most almightly piss up ever!
