Wanted Gas stove and oven

Does anyone have a gas stove and oven they want to dispose of for free? It’s only for my allotment shed so I don’t need anything special. Needs to be gas because there is no electricity.

Does it need to have an oven, or would a camping stove do?

If it's a 'domestic' stove, it will almost certainly be jetted for 'natural gas' - presumably you'll be running it on LPG? You might need to re-jet it, if it has come from an urban setting.

You can get burner-heated oven boxes, like this -

You can run them off a camping hob, but you can't use the hob as a hob at the same time, of course.

I see what you mean about domestic gas; I think a caravan cooker will be better for me

There is no thermostatic control, of course, but it's not too hard to get them to work right - you just need to develop the habit of looking at the thermometer.

Small caravan cookers do turn up - usually two burners and a small oven - and jetted for LPG, too..
