Do you have Tesco vouchers? You can swap £1 for £4 for days out, might be worth a look.

Aww, were in the Christmas club Bob so don't get them till November- but a good point for everyone else with vouchers

Realised today that we've only got about 3 days to go anywhere after we've done all the children's party's, dentists appts etc...

The appt was for last week, but the dentist phoned us to change it as 'then are won't have to have time off school'!!!

I think our appt was the last one in the day, and the dentist wanted to skive off early

There's is always the cinema (orange Wednesdays) or bowling.

I think Gullivers is great value for money although its about £14 if you take a packed lunch everything else is completely free.

There's quite a lot to do in Shrewsbury, 2 museums, a castle and lots if quaint shops The museum above the tourist information place is good and free, and the castle and regimental museum is fairly cheap..

We considered Shrewsbury today, decided on Hereford, then due to a slight timetable / brain issue ended up in Liverpool! Got to see the ship from the aardman animations pirate film though.

They do a "pony for a day" experience in the school hols (10am-4pm) which if i remember correctly is around £25. It comes highly recomended by my 10yr old.
A bit of a bargain when an hrs lesson for a child beginner is more than that at cannock chase.

Sorry, my mistake its £40 not £25. still great value for a whole days horse fun though.​
