    Hallowe’en Family Fun at the Haunted High House

    Join us for an evening of spooktacular fun. See the House decorated in glorious, gruesome fashion. Hear spine-tingling tales of terror; and make your own haunted house to take home. With face painting and spooky family quiz.

    This is Stafford not Sacramento, it is not cool to take your children ‘begging’ at strangers doors! (Bah humbug or whatever the Halloween alternative is Ha Ha!).

    Answered the door last night in a particularly good rubber horror mask and long hooded cloak doing the Darth Vader heavy breathing. Managed to make one cry and had another with a quivering bottom lip and doing that foot stamping, running on the spot thing that kids do. Scared the cats too, little cat hid behind the sofa and big fella puffed his fur up to about a third bigger than his normal size and legged it up the stairs. Think they've forgiven me now though.

    I think the only heavy breathing our beloved MP ever does is when he has to run to catch the gravy train.

    Pumpkins are 10p each in Sainsbury's so I bought two dozen.

    Should make an absolute killing with them next year :)
