Had a long weekend in Ashborne accompanying The Venerable Mrs Seed. Have never stayed there before, in my 56 years on the planet. Good place, I liked it, relatively lively Friday and Saturday night. Found a couple of places to eat, but while I liked it, I don't feel a desperate urge to go again, though the cottage we stayed in was lovely and very well placed for the town, so never say never!
