Help me find hero Ref !

Does anyone know of Mark Halsey the Ref who has courageously just beaten cancer as we would love him to Ref for us ??? Not sure if he is local but his "national" story is that he is back reffing after a battle with throat cancer !!! Can someone get him to contact me ???

I'm a Staffordshire based Referee and I can certainly get hold of him for you.

Unfortunately though, Premier League Referees have an ridiculously busy schedule, and he's probably going to be unable to referee the game. Even if he is free on the day, The FA often don't like senior officials refereeing non-competitive matches, in case they get injured and therefore totally balls up the following weeks fixture list.

Get in touch with me via PM and I'll see what I can do though. Even if Mark cannot do it for you, perhaps he knows another top official who can.
