FP of imgur with the Petra pics as well - nice
It's a Photo-Me. It gives you some photos and a code that you use online.
Yeah, that shocked me TBH as I don't think I ever posted publicly to imgur before, then got a message saying you've gone viral!
Off to Cotswolds / Oxford in the van over Easter, Scotland over summer and lots of weekends away in-between!
(Plus the usual school trip to Auschwitz!)
Just hoping the weather holds out...
Does anyone fancy a weekend in Paris?
Any one been to Krakow and done the tours ?
We're trying to avoid booking anywhere which involves flying over French airspace. Been caught up in their Air Traffic Controllers strikes before!
(Although son had a warning from Jet2 on the day of his flight from Prague of possible delays last week because of the French strikes. (Luckily he got off on time) His route wasn't flying over France, but other flights were clogging the airspace whilst diverting around France )
Can't get the hotel we want in Lanzarote for anytime in May , because of the Ironman taking place .
Can't get the flight times we like for the Canaries .
Might go to Algarve again if the '1 room left' is still left when hubby decides to get round to booking.....
Went in December a couple of years ago and did the free walking tours. Didn't venture outside the city to Auschwitz or the salt mines.
We did "Old Town Krakow", "Jewish Krakow" and another to a museum underneath the Cloth Market (?) which doesn't seem to be listed.
Go to the Musée Rodin if you've not before, treat yo'self.
Accommodation is cheap its the flights that are crazy prices .gotta keep looking
We’ve just got back from holiday.
We had a couple of days in Fort Lauderdale before getting on a cruise ship, the beautiful Celebrity Edge.
It’s a gorgeous ship, 4 main dining rooms and several specialty restaurants.
We met some lovely people, had fun, no queuing anywhere, lots to do both on and off the ship.
We were both impressed with the Captain (but husband was particularly enamoured).
She did say on her first announcement before leaving port “We’ll be on our way just as soon as I can remember which purse I’ve left the keys”.
Definitely an improvement on some of the 'Old Men' I sailed with. (Now there's a thought, in general aboard ship the Captain is referred to as 'the old man.'
Somehow I don't think referring to 'the old woman' is going to work … )
Not all Captains look like this!
(Believe me none of em look like that.)
Florida in July. our 7 year was bouncing off the walls when we told her
Booking all my hotels for Vietnam on free cancellation, just in case...
youngest daughter going to Orlando Florida again this year , loved it so much when she went in 2018.
( im hoping to sneak into her suitcase )
Eldest daughter decided not to bother with china this year though , cant imagine why
Just booked a week in Croatia for the middle of May. The offspring have been saying we should try Croatia in preference to Greece where we normally go, for a number of years, so we've finally taken the plunge. Coincidentally, Rick Stein featured it this morning on BBC2 just as we were booking.
And then it'll be off to Greece for a couple of weeks in June. Can't decide whether to go with a two-centre package to somewhere we've already been or go island-hopping to somewhere we haven't.
Well that's "pretty fly" but "the kids aren't alright" you know
