I don’t think mine will start. Going to a site or off grid?

    Got it in one.

Moving from the side of the property to the end of the driveway. Three days living in there just for a change.

There be no dragons left on the Chase, sadly.

In 'normal' times, they organise hunting parties.

I've seen dragons on the Chase !!! … or at least I did back in the days when the Barley Mow was a biker's pub.

Ahhh I'm talking about times in the 80's .. huge numbers of bikers from all over the Midlands used to gather there on a summer evening. :|

I hope you behaved yourself. My missus had to call the police a few times to sort out the fights.

Me too. But I never got into a fight I didn't lose …. (mind you, I was riding a Triumph Trident, talk about a quick 'fu** off quick before it get's out of hand.') :heyhey:

Having said that as a joke, I don't remember it ever having being that much troublesome. It was always more about the bikes and the run than daft macho shite.

I don't remember any agro really to be honest. Went at first in a CB250N then, when I passed my test, in a 750 Nighthawk so quite obviously I'd have buggered off at the first sign of trouble...

That's how I remember it. Sat outside on a warm summer evening, admiring all the shiny bikes parked up. Proper biking purely for the enjoyment of it. Talking to riders who were there for the pure joy of it. I kinda miss those days … but they are still out there, sadly, they tend to be a bunch of old farts (like me.) ;)

Of course, if some dumb f***** turns up on a Vespa … ya feed him (and his 'bike') into the nearest woodchipper …. :heyhey:

    (Only joking.)

    (Sort of.) :o

Good plan, we're off the week after bank holiday. Might suggest getting the tent up.
