Holidays are here and what is on for the kids people?

Saw a booklet in the local library last week that had a whole load of information for kids activities over the holiday season, most you have to pay for but it seemed quite extensive.

I've said it before on another post but national trust passes are gold!

We've got a family pass which is £10 per month and it's the best thing I've ever purchased.

Pack a picnic and you've got a day out for the price of the patrol and there's loads of places to explore, the kids come back shattered every time.

My favourite 3 are:

shugborough on the doorstep, they do a treasure hunt in the summer of seven secret doors to find in the gardens, I think we did that about 15 times last year and the kids loved it every time.

Calk Abbey near Derby is a bit of a trek to get to but it's the best house and grounds out of all of them we've been to so far.

Attingham Park in Shrewsbury has miles and miles of Woodland walks with lots of deer to see and the best kids park I've ever seen.

That would've been this -
- ie this.

Anything welcome
Keep an eye on the forum - others & I tend to post up stuff as it nears. The ^'Step Into' stuff tends to book up quickly, so get your skates on if thine brood takes a fancy to any of it.
