I want to say it's Rowley Street, but the windows don't look right...
It's familiar but I can't quite place it
it does.....I shall have a good look there later....
Well, I was thinking, there's been a bit of artistic license done here. It looks like the villas down Crooked Bridge Road. Almost opposite the post box. It int, cos the roof is different and there's no garden walls. But hey ho, what do I know about stuff?
Some great guesses.
There has been some artistic license @Glam , I've removed the window boardings (clue!).
I walked past the building again today, whilst I was in town (clue!), to see if the double doors were open, they weren't.
I have seen them open to the public before (clue!) and just about remember what was in there.
Clue; I've removed some artwork/a logo from the double doors.
North Walls again.
North Walls again @Gramaisc , you're right.
I love this building, I just hope someone out there sees it's beauty and buys it, if it's for sale, and brings it back to it's former glory.
I'll continue to post other buildings here, some more testers.
Also, look out for the competition, coming soon!
I've another building for you to guess, so, how about...
Eastgate Street - there's a thread on here about it.
You've cut the tree down..?
Edit, found it - http://www.staffordforum.com/xf/ind...ding-at-the-asda-end-of-eastgate-street.5303/ .
Simmons House on Eastgate Street, that's the one.
I think I'll resurrect the thread you've attached, great find, thanks.
I've drawn the building, where Pastel Cactus lives.
I'm sure a few of you here will appreciate this building and what's inside!
No points for guessing where this is, seems as the name is there for all to see.
I'll colour this up and then post it here, when I'm done...
There's no points for this one (sorry!), because if you don't already know it, all you have to do is look closely and you can see the name.
Rather than frame this one, I've clipped it to a wall, some how it felt right.
@Eastgate Homebrew should see this...
I had the pleasure of illustrating a lovely cottage in Wiltshire, that belongs to a Stafford Forumite's Dad (and his partner).
Before packing up and posting, I took a couple of snaps of the illustration in a simple white frame.
The great news for me is, they liked it!
Looks like you're creating your own.
It is Marlborough Avenue, but there was a dead give away in the framed pic on my FaceBook and Twitter post (the name of the road), so I'm afraid there's no points given out this time round!
Got the chance to illustrate this 1950's semi, a great house design I've always loved.
Little update, I have finally got round to colouring the Market Vaults, and here it is...
Ah, I never noticed the address. It was the hipped peak that gave it away, not many of them about - another enclave of them around Kingsley Road, but without the brackets.
