How will you vote in the Staffordshire County Council elections 2013?

The process there is pretty odd.

Link to county council website, which lists the areas, then you click on a link to see the candidates for each area... which takes you to the borough council website and a page entitled 'stafford borough council county councillor elections'.

No wonder people get confused.

Can see a lot of split votes with UKIP. Trades Union and Socialists Against the Cuts, and the Green Party standing in many of the Stafford divisions against Labour, Lib Dems and the Tories. I think this is a good thing as voters have more choice and will challenge the established parties. To that effect I will be voting UKIP

He has the fact that his name is already on the ballot paper going for him, that's for sure.

I am less sure he stands that much more of a chance than you in this ward, name on the ballot paper or no. Still, it's better than the last Borough elections, when we had the grand choice of either Con, Lab or er... that's it.

If that were the case we'd have none of the big 3! Unfortunately for the LDs they are now demonised for daring to behave like the other MPs (i.e. money grabbing ***** in it for themselves). Perhaps its mandatory when you get a seat? It may even be in their contracts....

No sofa vote or I would have gone that way.

Neither of the first two will get a vote from me but I'm still trying to decide on the other two.
