Christmas starts just after Halloween when you've got a sprog/sproglett. But the excitement is doubled, if you want to borrow mine to get the Christmas cheer, you only have to ask!

might have to borrow said small child in an effort to feel xmasy as i spend the best part of 6 weeks of the year sorting the countries xmas tshirt needs out.
also, can i borrow a dog off someone for when i go up to the chase to get my tree? that would make my day.

I can't wait to be able to go to the Chase to get my tree. Used to go with me Dad years ago, but then me folks started getting artificial ones. Boo!

Have to get them from me local shop at the mo. A 300 mile round trip to the Chase is a bit extreme.

we've been going to the chase each year for our tree and the quality gets shitter and shitter each year. unless you want the christmas tree equivalent of the sgraggy mongrel from the dogs home with half an ear missing that nobody wants i suggest you look elsewhere.

We usually get ours from Fosters but I like the idea of getting them from a big forest. Should we just stick with Fosters and save the chase for walking then?

fosters are good but a bit pricey. there's a place at the back of woolworths that's got some decent trees for about 20 quid. i'm sure the forestry commission sell all the decent trees to shops first and leave the scraggy leftovers for the buying public.

Since you mention Santa I returned home from work yesterday to find a rather large Santa suit on the side. Apparently I've got to wear it this year. Something to do with home made Xmas cards.

Takes the piss that, I'm sure she does it on purpose to make me look and feel like a twat. Still at least it'll provide other folk with much amusement.
