Indian food in Stafford

I like it there, but I only ever go in the week.
I'd heard such good things. Unfortunately the service was pretty poor. Forgot drinks, glasses and food over and over. It became almost comical. The rest of the table enjoyed their food but I chose a fish dish which I was told was mostly dry with a little bit of sauce. It was mostly sauce with almost no fish. Aw well, we're all entitled an off day.

Had a takeaway from spices last night, the starter was particularly good (chicken chatt) and £30 for 3 people ain't bad at all!

We went there once, wasn't impressed so never returned. We have a few good places, so on the rare night out we have we prefer to go for a meal we know we'll enjoy. We always try somewhere new, but in recent years it hasn't been worth it.

I said I had a bad night, I got called a liar on here by them and then they started messaging me. In the end I took down a negative review from TripAdvisor.

Eck that's a pretty poor response. You'd think they'd have done better with offering a bit of an apology, not bullying tactics.

Went to The Morrisman last night. Food was spot on. Indian style with their own twist. Shame it was full of noisy kids.

9/10 food - 5/10 atmosphere due to kids.

If you don't mind eating in a pub environment it's defo worth a punt.
We'll certainly be back but won't book so as to leave options open.
