Screen prices mostly reduced again. I've edited the opening post with the latest prices and now do all iPhones except for iPhone 7 range.

In those kind of situations you really need to consider a full reset of the phone to see if it solves it all. I'd suggest making a full backup to iTunes if it lets you so that you can restore it back if it doesn't help anything.

Silly question - is the memory completely full??

It's refusing to allow back up

Not sure

If the memory is completely used the camera won't operate at all and a few other things. Go into settings and you can see storage values - if it's full that's your problem. If not, then a complete reset might be the only way forward. Check if your pictures are all safe on iCloud before proceeding though as otherwise you'll lose them all.

Ta bab

Apparently it won't allow images to be backed up at all.

I'm trying to encourage some heavy deletion

Iv been havin problems too actually . If I sent a text it appears to have sent and I get charged but then about 10 minutes later I get the "message failed to send " 50% of the time after getting the "failed " the recipient receives the message . I can send through iMessage no problems( as long as recipient has iMessage obviously ) any ideas?

To be honest this happened alot when I used giffgaff (o2) - but I found that in 99% of cases the message had indeed actually sent successfully. Since switching to Plusnet Mobile (EE) it rarely seems to happen at all. I suspect this may be more of a network issue rather than your phone. Are you sure it's failing as a text in all cases? If you're mobile data is switched off and your away from home (so no wifi) then imessages will automatically fail after so many retries.
