Is there a pay-as-you-go sauna in town?

Hi,

I could really use a Sauna right now or soon. I know the heath club thing near
to the Ford dealer/McD hasa sauna and a stema room, but you have to join and I'm already a member
of the somewhat closer, cheaper "normal" fitness centre on Lammascrote Road.

So, is there anywhere at all in town I can just turn up, pay, get a sauna and then leave
without having to become a member?

Thanks

Michael.

Was going to post a link to the Argos home sauna room and say something smart like "why go out to a sauna" when I found this www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/0108108/Trail/searchtext>SAUNA.htm
which is so much cheaper...

Hope this works, bit of a novice...

It looks very space age. Though it seems to involve more work than the "sitting down and not moving at all" type I've tried before.

I'd wear it!
But for the sitting down type (and I think I'm getting good at this)

In fact you probably could get up and do stuff whist wearing it, but not necessary for the steam.

Sorry to derail slightly, but what is the point of a Sauna?

Does it have any health benefits or is it just so you can try and beat your mates by staying in one longer than they can?

Surely we know someone who could print a logo on these and they could become the Forum uniform.
Don't bother with the Brand Warehouse then.... anyone would think they didn't need the custom.

Called them the other day for a quote on 20 football training tops with printing for my football team, said they would get back to me. Two weeks later and nothing.... credit crunch, not at the Brand Warehouse.

"They" say it helps ward off colds and such. Who knows if true. But it does feel good during/afterwards, and that's enough.

I go to the expensive sauna next to McDonalds. I swim for a bit then nip round and sit in the sauna and just get totally warm. Really toasty. Then I sit in the spa pool and by the time I've done all that I'm so relaxed I can hardly stand up. In the changing room after I say "That was hard work!" to all the sporty types and because I'm pink in the face I get away with it. So the point of a sauna is to get really toasty, and pretend you've done excercise. Love it!
