Quite often a forumite offers to do something for another forumite for free (or for beer, biscuits or cakes haha)
On my furniture wanted thread it was suggested I give a donation to Katharine house in exchange for armchair/washing machine and I thought what if I (or someone else!) set up a forum just giving page in aid of Katharine house and anyone who is done a favour for free could then make a small donation - not compulsory, just a thought
