My friends and I did this last night and I just wanted to say hats off to the organises, marshals and everyone else who had a hand in running it.

We had an ace time and it was incredibly well run event - and quite a sight to see so many women (easily over a 1000) taking part.

I'm keen to see how much they raised all in all and We'll be doing it again next year.

And major league cuffy to the grumpy guy on Sandon Road who told us all to be quiet!

Did anyone else on here take part?

Skill to Wormella for doing something fab for a worthy cause. Meant to do it, but forgot. Next year I will, sounds like fun.

Yes,very well done to all involved

Being a grumpy old man and needing to be tucked up by ten o'clock these days, school night or not, I hope to make a contribution to Katharine House in a way that is more suited to my lifestyle

The London House curry restaurant in Eccleshall High Street is one of quite a few involved in a taste of India on 27th September - with proceeds going forward to Katharine House

Eating for charity - I can do that

Her indoors took part and should get an extra reward for not waking me up on her return......

Thank you! It really was an ace evening but my paltry £133's raised paled in comparison to some people's very impressive total.

Hmmm, eating for charity does sound like a good idea!

You should have been waiting in the hallway with a rolling pin ( and your hair in curlers? ). What's sauce for the goose.....

Details please - by PM, if you feel it necessary. I heard nothing whatsoever. I didn't even know you'd been here. Did you manage to do it without anybody falling down a hole?

Can't remember which house number but a long haired oldish guy about mid way up the terraces on Sandon Rd- just after number 177 (I remember that because I used to live there) - and that side of the road.

We were by no means leading the pack, in fact we were fairly behind the leaders so a lot of people had headed before us - so I suspect we were receive the brunt of aggro from 30mins to a hour of chatter passing by his window.

and no I don't think anyone fell in a hole!

Well, what do you expect from the odd-numbered side? Did you walk right through the posh bit up to Beaconside? Because I genuinely heard nothing.

It must have been a particularly delicately-spoken crowd. Well done.
But a bomb could go off in your bedroom and you wouldn't wake up. You slip into a coma as soon as the lights are out. (Nobody ask me how I know this is true...)

I did wonder what this was. One minute relaxing watching the ol' movies the next minute the biggest rave I've seen (they had glowsticks, therefore were a rave) walks past my window! I have to admit it got my attention though :)
