kindle problem

Ok, I'm utterly useless when it comes to technology so please be gentle with me
my fully charged, wifi connected kindle is playing up with Facebook.
to get to Facebook i click on the silk browser ( i have no idea what this means but its the button i press!) then i click on 'Most viewed' and tap 'm.facebook' At this point i normally happily waste many hours reading lots of rubbish and smiling at hundreds of cute kids on their first day back at school. But noo, not anymore. First few days i couldn't see the pictures ( i still clicked the like button to be polite and hoped it was an appropriate response) now today, ny still fully charged and wifi connected devise just shows fb in a long text form, all notifications, private messages, everything kind of listed down the page. Still no photos.

so i thought i was being clever by going onto google and searching fb with 'www.' still no luck. Everything else works fine, google, email, books etc.
has anyone got any simple easy to understand fix it suggestions. I don't want to ring the helpdesk because of my poor technical knowledge so I'm hoping someone will have a good idea as to what i can do, i miss fb, :(

My facebook keeps playing up like this, and I'm on a desktop pc. It takes several attempts at refreshing the page before it comes back normal.
I'm not technically minded either duck, I have to get my lads to sit patiently and show me how to do things several times. I'm useless with a lot of things.

This is probably a result of the CSS not loading on the webpage. If it has worked before on the kindle then it'll likely correct it self after a few refreshes
