Lawn Mower Repairs.

Wanted - a local lawn mower repairer please.
Right, I have acquired a lawn mower, it's a petrol rotary thing. You have pull a cord to get it started. The problem is, the cord is almost out of the machine and the thing won't start.
The person I have acquired it off, hasn't got a clue what's up with it.
I've told him, I'll get it repaired, if he comes and cuts the jungle that was once my lawn. He's said yes.......... :)
Does Geoff Derricutt still mend mowers?
If not, can anyone point me in the right direction of someone that does please?

It's probably just that the return spring has unhooked - easily fixable - get your tools out....

I have 2 screw drivers, 1 with an X and the other with a -. A hammer, pair of pliers and a tape measure.
Considering the bloke I've nicked it off/ acquired from, used be a mechanic for Ford at Silverstone, you'd think he'd know what do.

I used Geoff until a few years ago, last time I spoke to him he was trying to cut back on the workload. Think he was suffering with a bad back ? I used http://www.staffordlawnmowerrepairs.co.uk/ last time and they were great.

There is also a guy as you pass through Penkridge on the A449, just after the town on the left as if heading off to W'ton. He always has a petrol mower out front for sale and repairs them too. I've also known him to do trade ins of broken ones towards ones he's serviced and selling. Very nice chap although not dealt with him in several years.

He knows how to charge, he does.
